Directly with the founding of the museum of Kruševac, began also the forming of the historical collection which includes objects starting with the Middle Ages to nowadays. In that sense, the collection contains objects, photographs and documents related to the political, military, economic and cultural life of the region. Having in mind the diversity of the material, within the collection are the twelve sub-collections and the legacy of Stanislav Binički (1872 – 1942), which besides his personal objects, documents and photographs, contains also the original music notation of the composition March on the Drina, as well as of the compositions created in the period between 1887 and 1893.
