A base for forming the collection of applied art were the objects which the museum acquired as a result of the archaeological researches in the area of medieval Kruševac, and which still present its most important segment. The collection was enriched over time with archaeological researches, purchase and donation. The numerous movable finds from the town of Kruševac, as well as parts of the jewellery and cult objects from Stalać, evidence the artistic feeling and technical knowledge of the medieval artisans.
Besides the original objects, the collection includes also the collection of copies representing the significant document and historical source. Systematically complemented, by the pre-determined plan, it includes the copies of frescoes, stone plastic, manuscripts, as also the reconstruction of the vestment of the prince Lazar Hrebeljanović.
